Changelog
Everything new in Nimbl Mail: features, improvements, fixes, and security updates. We ship often and keep this up to date.
- Fixed
Inbox preview text now uses your campaign's preview text instead of scraping bits of the email (logo alt text, menu links, stray symbols). Set 'Preview text' on the campaign details step to control exactly what shows next to the subject line in Gmail and other inboxes.
- Fixed
Deleting a campaign no longer resets your 'Emails Sent' total on the dashboard. Emails you've already sent stay counted even after the campaign is removed.
- Fixed
- Added
You can now rename a template right from the editor. Click the template name at the top, type a new one, and press Enter to save.
- Added
- Added
Established accounts with a proven sending track record can now have their warm-up limits lifted by our team, so they can send at their full plan volume right away. Bounce and complaint protections stay in place.
- Added
- Changed
Campaigns are now sent at a steady, paced rate with separate limits per mailbox provider (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, Apple). This protects deliverability and avoids being throttled or blocked by the big providers when sending larger campaigns.
- Fixed
Editing an imported HTML template now works. The code editor shows and lets you edit the imported HTML (it was appearing empty before), and the visual builder is clearly disabled for imported HTML, since the drag-and-drop builder only works with templates created in Nimbl Mail.
- Changed
Template gallery previews are now larger, giving a clearer sense of how each template looks on desktop.
- Fixed
Dark mode overhaul: switched from a heavy green to a neutral dark grey, and fixed dashboard stat cards whose numbers were unreadable (light text on a light card) in dark mode.
- Added
Send a test email of your campaign to any address from the review step, so you can check how it looks in a real inbox before sending or scheduling.
- Fixed
The Acceptable Use Policy prompt can no longer be skipped by closing it. New accounts must accept it before using the app, and it reappears until accepted.
- Fixed
Images added in the email builder are now uploaded and served from a real web address instead of being embedded in the email. This fixes images showing up blank in Gmail, Outlook and other email clients.
- Added
Send a test email from the campaign details step too (a 'Test email' button next to Continue), not only from the review step.
- Added
Domain setup now includes a recommended DMARC record, with a green tick once it's detected. DMARC is optional but improves deliverability.
- Changed
DMARC detection now recognises an existing record even when it's managed by a third party or delegated via CNAME, so you're not asked to add one you already have.
- Added
Published Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and Acceptable Use Policy pages, linked from the footer and the Acceptable Use Policy prompt.
- Fixed
Test emails now come from your campaign's sender name and address, instead of a generic no-reply address, so the test matches the real thing.
- Added
Import a template from a ZIP (for example a Canva HTML export). The HTML is imported and its images are uploaded and served from a proper web address, so they display correctly in email.
- Fixed
Fixed broken logo and banner images on your branding settings and on public pages (unsubscribe, subscribe forms, and emails). They were failing to load because of a link that pointed to the wrong place.
- Added
Sign up now asks for your company name, and it's used as the default sender name on your campaigns.
- Fixed
Your timezone is now set automatically from your browser, so scheduled campaigns go out at the right local time.
- Fixed
Domain verification is now reliable. DNS records (DKIM, SPF, return path, DMARC) are checked through a consistent resolver, so records no longer verify once and then fail on the next check due to caching.
- Fixed
The Domains page now shows a clear error with a retry button if your domains fail to load, instead of a blank 'no domains yet' state.
- Changed
- Added
Scheduled campaigns now show their send date and time, both in the campaigns list and on the campaign itself.
- Added
Email preview now has desktop, tablet, and mobile buttons so you can see how your campaign looks on each device before sending.
- Fixed
The sender name is now required before you can continue building a campaign, and it's pre-filled with your business name so it can't accidentally be left blank.
- Fixed
Template previews now show the desktop layout instead of the mobile layout, so the gallery reflects how each template really looks.
- Fixed
Turning off 'Track opens' or 'Track clicks' on a campaign now actually stops that tracking. Previously the setting was ignored and links were still rewritten for click tracking.
- Added
Download a PDF invoice for any payment from your billing Payment History.
- Added
The Domains page now shows how many sending domains your plan allows and how many you've used, and blocks adding more once you reach the limit.
- Fixed
On the domain setup page, a 'some records not yet detected' notice could linger next to the 'Domain verified and ready to send' message once your domain finished verifying. The page now clears that notice automatically.
- Fixed
Fixed a server error that stopped a list's subscribers from loading, so you can now open a list and see its subscribers. (If loading ever fails, the page now shows a clear error with a 'Try again' button instead of looking empty.)
- Added
- Added
Nimbl Mail now works properly on mobile: a slide-in menu with a hamburger, tables that scroll, editors that stack, and dialogs that fit small screens.
- Added
- Security
Platform-wide security hardening following a full internal security review, with stronger protection for webhooks, public pages, and account safety.
- Added
This changelog page, so you can always see what's new in Nimbl Mail.
- Added
Clone a campaign: duplicate an existing campaign's content and settings into a fresh draft in one click.
- Added
Each campaign now shows which recipient list it targets, at a glance.
- Added
Drag and drop a CSV file to import subscribers (in addition to click-to-upload).
- Added
See why a subscriber bounced (hover the 'bounced' badge) and reactivate recoverable bounces, with a warning for permanent ones.
- Fixed
'Total recipients' briefly showed 0 right after sending or scheduling a campaign.
- Fixed
Emails from some sending domains could fail DKIM authentication and land in spam. The signing key is now kept in sync automatically, and a daily check heals any domain that drifts out of sync.
- Changed
DKIM key changes now take effect within minutes instead of up to an hour.
- Security
- Fixed
Two-factor authentication setup showed a blank QR code and couldn't be completed. Setup and verification now work end to end.
- Fixed
Admin 'View as tenant' now works correctly, showing the selected tenant's real data.
- Fixed
Campaign reports showed 0 delivered / opens / clicks even when emails were delivered and opened. Tracking now updates correctly.
